Educational Qualification

BSNL Junior Telecom Officer Recruitment 2026 requires candidates to possess specific engineering or postgraduate qualifications. Candidates must satisfy the educational eligibility conditions prescribed under the official notification.

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Degree or equivalent from a Central Government/State Government recognized Institution or University in any one of the following disciplines:

Telecommunications

Electronics

Radio

Computer

Electrical

Information Technology (IT)

Instrumentation

OR M.Sc. in Electronics.

OR M.Sc. in Computer Science.

Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as M.Tech. in the prescribed disciplines are also eligible to apply.

The applicant must be an Indian National.

The prescribed qualification must be obtained from a recognized University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.

The candidate must have completed the qualifying course on or before the closing date of receipt of application.

The applicant must be capable of distinguishing principal colours and should have binocular vision.
